Design & Build Quality

A good quality back case is available in the box of Infinix Smart 8. A 10W charger adapter, Type C cable, and smartphone are included. Talking about design and build, timber texture design, picture material, and hard material are available. 

The design has a box style and rounded edges. A single mic is provided, it would have been better if it was dual, and there is a single speaker.The left side has a SIM tray and a full-size slot. 

It also has a 3.5mm jacket, a Type C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The scanner is quite fast. This phone comes in different colors. Galaxy White, Rainbow Blue, Shiny Gold, and Timber Black.

Performance & Scores

For performance, it has a MediaTek Helio G36 chipset. Now this chipset is based on 12 nm which is not a gaming chipset and the AnTuTu score you get here is around 8 lakhs. 

The CPU throttling score was also quite good here at 89%. There wasn't much heat. If you play games here, try on medium settings. This is not a gaming smartphone.

As for software, the Infinix Smart 8 has Android 13 Go Edition. This is the lite version of the full version. It comes with two or four preinstalled apps. You can disable or remove all of them. There's no obligation. 

It also has a stock dialer, so you can record calls. And it will come with two years of security patches. There is no talk of an early update on whether Android 14 will come in it or not.

Camera

Infinix Smart 8 battery is 5000mAh. A 10W adapter is available in the box. It will take around 150 minutes to get fully charged. However, the battery backup is quite good. You can use it the whole day. It will last for 1 and a half days. It has 4G connectivity which is fine for the price but everyone wants 5G now.
