In August 2021, India Today asked Rakesh Roshan for more details regarding this movie. Where he said that Krrish will definitely be made but right now we are looking at it from the business point of view. 

Currently, all the movies being released are not able to fully recover their production budget. So not immediately but in a year or two they will see how the business of the industry is going. Only after that, the work on Krrish 4 will start.

He said that at present no film in the industry is earning that much profit. According to him, this is not the right time to release such a high-budget film.

The filming of Krrish 4 is expected to start in this year (2024). So mostly this movie should be released by late 2025 or early 2026. This is the expectation.
